(Boaz) serves as Fine Arts Division Chair and Vocal/Choral Instructor at Snead State Community College in Boaz, Alabama. She has taught applied voice, music curriculum courses, directed choirs and opera theatre ensembles since 1989 at colleges and universities in the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. Her article, “The Effects of the Alexander Technique on the Respiratory System of the Singer/Actor” was published in the Journal of Singing in October/November 2002. Dr. Hudson trained as an AT Teacher at The Alexander Alliance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has been a Teaching Member of ATI since 2002. Dr. Hudson enjoys working with voice users who are interested in unlocking the body’s upright reflex, breathing reflex, and connecting to sound-making, pitch-matching, and freedom from vocal strain and fatigue.
